Goodwin Aged Care

Congratulations to Goodwin Aged Care for gaining Healthier Work Recognition Silver Status!  After an excellent first year as part of the program, Turin and Toral (Workplace Champions) built on a varied, inclusive 12 month plan and used excellent communication strategies to be able to reach all staff at Goodwin who are spread throughout different facilities/sites around Canberra.  Their Goodwin-wide intranet is a one stop shop for all their activities, news, and communication to all staff and engagement was excellent throughout the year!  They have built upon their learnings from the first year as well as built upon the activities/strategies in their plan.  Some things that staff can be engaged in include: on-site yoga/meditation classes; a Goodwin Multicultural Festival; workshops on mental health, physical activity, nutrition, and quitting smoking; free health checks; Ainslie mountain challenge; producing a Goodwin Healthy E-Recipe book; and bootcamp for both north and south side facilities.  Congratulations Goodwin and keep up the brilliant work!!
