Protecting the Mental Health of Small Business

Our guest speakers for this webinar were Linda Sheahan from Beyond Blue and Janine Linklater from the Canberra Business Enterprise Centre (CBEC).

In this webinar, Linda explores:

  • the impact of COVID-19 on mental health
  • staying well tips for small businesses and sole traders and
  • free mental health supports and resources for small businesses, those who work with them, their family and friends. These include resources from Beyond Blue’s Heads Up program and Everymind’s Ahead for Business.

Janine then provides an overview of the supports available for local small business through CBEC. This includes free supports via the Canberra Business Advice and Support Service (CBASS), sponsored by the ACT Government. Find out more about these supports, here.

Webinar date: 25 November 2020

Note: connectivity issues were experienced during Linda’s presentation, which required her to rejoin about 7 1/2 minutes in. The recording has been edited to remove this interruption, however you will note that Linda’s video is off for much of her presentation after this time due to technical issues.
